Sometimes, it's important to take a step back from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and spend some quality time with your loved ones. In our woodworking business, we've been working hard to catch up on back orders, but we also know the importance of creating memories with our children. Today, we took a break from the workshop to make this cute pinecone holder with our little ones. It's a pinecone holding custom painted pinecones lol, and it's the perfect way to display other pinecones or small trinkets. Not only did we have a blast crafting this together, but it's a reminder to slow down and cherish these moments with our kids. Take the time to plan and visualize your project before any cuts are made. Changes can always be made throughout, but have a solid start point with any materials you intend to begin with. For this shadowbox, I want to remove a lot of the border to bring it down in size, but I need to ensure I leave it large enough to fit my flag border. It’s always a tedious task! Ensuring your project material is straight and square before you begin your project can mean the difference between an getting the job done right the first time… Or having to start over from scratch because nothing fits together correctly.
